The Department of 心理科学 offers a 理学学士，主修心理学, a Pre-Medicine跟踪, and 辅修心理学。 In addition to our other programs, we carry the Accelerated Bachelor of Science with a Major in Psychology to Master of Arts in Intelligence and Security Studies with a Concentration in Social Influence. Our undergraduate psychology curriculum is diverse in order to reflect the breadth of the field from the biological bases to the social determinants of behavior. Our students also gain hands-on experience via faculty-supervised undergraduate research opportunities and numerous community-based volunteer and internship positions.
With a Master of Science degree in psychology from 奥古斯塔大学, you'll be well prepared for a career in mental health or research, or to work toward a doctoral degree. While earning your degree, you will gain practical experience in clinical, research and/or teaching internships and have the opportunity to complete an independent research thesis.
We are innovative and interdisciplinary in our approach and emphasize understanding phenomena that have a direct impact on society. Importantly, scientists at all levels - faculty, graduate and undergraduate students - engage in collaborative scholarship and critical thinking in the classroom and in the laboratory.
